The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. ~Joseph Campbell

I'm so glad you are considering getting help for whatever problems or situations you may be facing. Regardless of what the issues are, therapy is a great way to receive unconditional support and connection while working through confusing or difficult times. I believe the most important factor of a successful therapy experience centers on the relationship between you and your therapist. It is essential that there is a good match between the two in order for healing and personal growth to take place. I hope that this website will give you a better sense of how we would work together.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals and couples to help them transform their inner and relational conflicts into opportunities for growth and life change. Though I work with a wide range of issues, my specific areas of focus are working with people  who suffer from mood disorders, complex and developmental trauma, PTSD and relationship issues, all of which can interfere with the realization of one's full potential. I come from a depth psychology orientation, which takes into account the unconscious beliefs, attitudes, and self-defeating patterns hidden from everyday awareness that impact our wellbeing and relationships. I use a psychodynamic approach and incorporate EMDR, mindfulness, Jungian dream analysis, and somatic therapies within a depth psychology perspective to address clients’ issues in an integrative way. For couples, I offer both individual couples counseling and relationship enrichment group therapy.

I work with clients to uncover these aspects that may hold the key to their healing and help them to develop the necessary psychological tools to navigate life’s challenges. I believe that deep transformation is possible by encountering our genuine selves with compassion and addressing the underlying causes of symptoms so that true and lasting change can occur.

look into your depths

We are meaning-seeking creatures, and it is easy to lose sight of that with the overwhelming demands of our daily life. Therapy provides a time and space where you can explore the deeper aspects of yourself in order to create a life that is fulfilling and embrace the uniqueness of who you truly are.

explore your dreams

Dream exploration is a great way to uncover thoughts and emotions that don't get expressed in the world of our conscious awareness. I help clients to connect with their dream images and to understand the underlying symbolism as an avenue  to self discovery .

re-imagine your life

By awakening your imagination it is possible to reconstruct your life narrative. You can begin to see all events in your life as working together to provide opportunities for growth and as supporting you on your life journey. I believe this is an important element to incorporate to deepen the healing process.

become who you are

We are required to play many roles in our life, and often we are pulled in so many directions that we forget who we are at our core. Life becomes about what and who we are to others, and our sense of self worth begins to depend on how others see us. One of my goals as a therapist is helping you to discover how to live from your truest self.
